Apples

In todays world, where fruit is imported from every corner of the world and grown with every technique imaginable, it can be hard to find a good ol' apple. That is why I have rated types of apple's based on my experience of eating 3-7 apples a day everyday of my life.

Red Delicious
These iconic apples are known for their deep red color. They are my personal favorite for the delicious flavor of their skin. They do have so dis advantages. Red Deliciouses have waxy skins, giving them a rather unpleasant texture. This is often compounded by the addition of artificial wax to give the apple a shinier appearance. Some Red Deliciouses also have fairly tasteless flesh, that can be distinguished by its white-green color. A good red delicious has a more golden color. To apple enthusiast who enjoy eating the entirety of the apple including the stem, I would caution that the Red delicious has on of the least pleasant stems of any apple. Its stem is hard and wood like, and dry.

Granny Smith
The Granny Smith Apple is considered by many to be their favorite, though personally I do not much care for them. They can be easily be identified by their Pure green color. their taste is distinctively tangy. Like Red deliciouses they have fairly waxy skins that can give them an unpleasant flavor.

Braeburn
These apples are a blend of colors and can be indentified by the way the apple comes to a sort of point at the bottom, more so than the usual ridges. These apples have a taste that tends to leave an unusual burned sensation on the tongue. This is a fairly solid all around apple, although not one I would recommend to beginners to apple conoseiuring.

More apple types coming, pending further research and testing.
